Incumbent Worker Training Program

The Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP) provides direct financial assistance to local businesses looking to provide training to their incumbent (current) employees, allowing for an increase of skills and opportunities for both employers and employees.  This program will assist businesses who may be struggling to pay for optional trainings that can improve business operations, offered products/services, or efficiency.

  • Recognized credentials
  • HR certifications
  • Improved process efficiency, identified by industry professionals
  • Technical/Computer skills
  • And many more

Reimbursement & Contributions

Businesses will be required to keep track of all costs incurred by the trainings so that they may be reimbursed for any costs that can be covered by IWTP.  Businesses will also be asked to contribute part of the funds according to the table below, either as cash, or in-kind contributions.
