Day to Day – What Does It Look Like?

As a home visitor, you’ll visit one-on-one with 10-12 families for 90 minutes each week.  Each family’s visit will look different based on their needs.  Home Visitors plan and implement weekly lessons for the children and parent education, complete assessments on the children, take observations and record their child development and behaviors.

Home Visitors also plan and host Family Events (gatherings of the families on their caseload) twice a month.  This gives the families and opportunity to build connections with other parents of young children, and gives the children a chance to socialize.

You’ll have a team of other home visitors to plan and network with on a daily or weekly basis.

Early Head Start Home Visitor works primarily with families that have children 0-3 years old.  This position is year-round.  Position will be located in our Oklee or Bagley location, depending on caseload.
